Very sorry to hear man. Lots of theft with Infiniti cars in our area lately. Just last week a friend of mine also was a victim of this but his car was recovered but the thieves were nowhere to be found. Hope they find your car and the people that are doing this.

still nothing about my car.

my advise to fellow infiniti owners: install tracking devices, secondary alarm, cameras in your house or anything that can help improve the security of your car and yourself.

be aware.

With your insurance how long do you have to wait on recovery efforts until they give up and get you a new one? do you have a loaner during this process? Sorry for the questions im just curious how it works.

14 days is the time for recovery effort. After that the claim is consider a total loss claim.

The whole process takes about 30 to 35 days. They won't get me a new one, they will make arrangements with Infiniti Financial Services (my car is leased) and pay them a pay off amount.

After all that my lease contract will be terminated and supposedly i will be able to get a new one.
Infiniti told me i have the keep doing the payments so my credit doesn't get a negative report until everything is finished with the insurance, they cannot freeze the account, the money paid after the incident will be reimbursed.

I didn't had rental coverage on my policy, but my insurance provided me with one because I'm a "gold member" Im a costumer since 2009 and never had a claim before. im driving a Impala they are paying for the cost of the rental but i have to cover the taxes on it which are about 3 dollars daily.

It really sucks, a huge headache.

Mine was Stolen Too

Hey Sergio, Sorry to hear about your car. It is truly an awful feeling. My 2013 G37s 6mt was stolen last Wednesday. Parked it in a well lit area, locked, e-brake engaged, and reversed in. Cops pretty much told me sucks for you.

Did you hear anything back from Police/insurance about them finding it?

I'm insured with Geico and was given a rental for up to 30 days. They told me I have to wait 20 days before they considered it a total loss. Like you I don't get a replacement they just will pay off Inifinti lease. Then it's back to negotiating a deal for a new car I guess.

Good luck with your situation. Hope resolution comes soon.

Police / Insurance never found my car…

Total loss…

Pretty sad that nowadays you cannot work hard to get your nice stuff because somebody is already watching to steal it
