New Servers are slower than molasses.

I remember my 56k modem running faster than the forum is now. It's taken me about 10 minutes to navigate through about 6 pages of the forum. Is there still some glitch that needs to be worked out? The new post just said adds would have trouble and the servers are supposed to be faster.

Everything seems to be stable now... My guess is that the servers needed to cache some of the content, thus causing slower than normal performance.

EDIT: A FAIL occured

Don't know about you guys, but both this and driver majorly crapped out for 5 min. I kno it's too be expected for a few days but we have no lives other than constantly monitoring the forums for n00bs and glitches, and then reporting our findings~! RIGHT guys??? whose with meee!?

Be patient peeps.

They are still working stuff related to the move.

Moving the sites is not like turning a light switch on.
Alot of processes are involved.
We are getting close to the finish line.

What else is running on the new servers?
Is it dedicated to just this site, or does it share resources with the other boards?

Curious as to the configuration/OS/database backend.

Well there is Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, a SAN, DNS, File Share server, a FTP server, and of course all the Driver domains are hosted on this one server. I think it does a really good job.

lol. j/k as you probably know.

Hey, I don't have any issues really anymore, just typical glitches here and there which is expected with any site. When the site was first moved, my first sign on was taking forever. But all is good now for my end.
