This is a used Infiniti G37 steering wheel controls trim piece pulled from a 2009 model. The piece is used in many Infiniti vehicles (G35, G25, Q50) and is coated with a "soft touch" rubbery coating. This coating deteriorates over time and in 2013 Infiniti started using uncoated (hard) plastic to solve the issue. See this thread for info:

The problem is that Infiniti placed an MSRP of $144 on the new part (48463JK07A) and many people don't want to pay that extremely high price. I did buy it, and I am selling my OLD part (with the deteriorated rubbery coating) that someone can use if they want to refinish it (paint it, cover it with vinyl, etc). Perhaps the one they have is broken, in much worse shape, or they need inventory for selling pre-wrapped versions.

Please note this is sold as-is. There is surface coating deterioration with minor scratches; the plastic itself is not cracked, dinged, chipped, broken warped, or otherwise damaged in any way.
