I never did use this mount. I decided to keep the detector sitting to the left instead of below the mirror.
Looking at their website, it seems they have a newer adjustable model. This is the original. Website says they have one left on the lower right side of this page:

I bought this a long time ago. The one I'm selling has an internal diameter (mirror post mount area) of .87 inches fully closed so your mirror post should be a little thicker than that so it can clamp tight.
