At first, I thought it was the convertible top, because it was really loud clunking w/the top up; not so much w/the top down.

Duh. The 500lb top weighed down on the rear, didn't clunk as much.

Ya, as soon as your adjuster gets you a price, start ripping off all the goodies. Wheels, exhaust, wing, stereo if aftermarket, etc.

Regarding 20mm spacers bolt on type only if those wheels will allow it. Depending on if the wheels have a flat back mounting surface or not. If flat, you'll need to stack slip on spacers.

Sedan springs on a 'vert, they'll be too weak.

Don't be cheap. Get springs for the 'vert! Or get BC Racing coilovers! Wasn't that hard to install...

Then get some rubbing compound and w/said cloth, rub the areas as much as you can but not TOO hard.
