Z1 baffled oil pan

Selling my new and unused Z1 baffled oil pan. Opened the box but never installed it. This will also fit the Q50 sedans with the 3.7l VQ37VHR. I ended up with a CJM baffled pan so I don’t have a need for this one anymore. It’s still boxed in the original Z1 box, ready to ship. Z1 won’t have these in stock/ ready to ship until early next year, so if you don’t want to wait here’s an opportunity to snag one. Baffled oil pans are a must for these cars to be tracked reliably. I’m in SE Florida if you’re nearby and prefer to pick it up.

$350 excluding shipping

No offers please…this is $150 off of Z1’s price…

Curious how the CJM baffled oil pan compares to the Z1. You happen to have any pictures as a comparison?

Not yet, still waiting for it to show up sadly- they had a delay with production due to materials but should be shipping out soon. If it shows up before the Z1 pan sells, I'll definitely post comparison pictures in a new thread and will tag you. side note- see you're in ATL, that's my hometown, grew up in Gwinnett, DeKalb and good old Fulton county- respect

Excuse me if this isn't new info for you, just sharing to help others who might see this and wonder the same.

The main difference is the CJM pan uses metal baffles instead of Viton baffles like the Z1 pan. The Viton baffles last 10-20 years but can easily be replaced if failing with off-the-shelf Viton flaps. The Z1 pan has an extra threaded hole on it to make removal for servicing easier, on that note/if they ever need to be serviced. The Z1 pan also keeps the OEM threaded drain plug (easy to replace), where the CJM pan uses a custom drain plug - both have revised/improved drain plug locations. (Just for example- Lotus uses Viton baffles from the factory in a lot of their cars). Metal baffles are just less maintenance and theoretically should last the lifetime of the car, at a slightly higher price. But the Z1 pan has a lot of selling points, not to mention it has an aux temp sensor port which the CJM pan doesn't have. Both have turbo drain ports and hold around the same (extra) capacity ~.5l. Charles at CJM is a great guy, and even with the delay he has been nothing but a pleasure to buy from. I was planning to get the CJM S1.SE fuel system from him to run E mixes anyways, so it seemed like the way to go, especially since this car is going to see the track a good bit next year and I'm all about making it as low-maintenance/ easy to maintain as possible. Hope that helps, end of my rant, lol.
