OEM Akebono brakes and lines

Akebono/Infiniti big brakes off a 2013 6MT Sport. Includes all OEM lines - all you'll need is to hook them up to the hardline on the wheel well. Includes used OEM pads and hardware with usable life left.

Asking $600 + shipping; since the boxes are 25 and 12 pounds each you can calculate your own shipping: my zip is 29418.

These are originally silver, were painted black over that when I got them, and I painted them red. I'll throw in the can of caliper paint if you want - they should be cleaned before install, you can paint them red again or whatever. As far as I can tell, the original silver finish is still in OK shape under the black.

Well, you're sort of right.

They sell remanufactured - these are OEM. Amazon has those for a little over $500. They do not include lines, or pads.

Nevertheless, the going rate on here seems to be about 600, so that is what these are priced at.

Aeroneer1 08-25-2021 09:14 AM

@rotarymike I may be interested, will report back.

rotarymike 08-25-2021 09:48 AM

Bear in mind that if you're converting from the smaller brakes, you'll need rotors, and may need different caliper-knuckle bolts.

rotarymike 09-07-2021 08:11 PM

@Aeroneer1 if you're converting from base model brakes we can talk about OEM rotors too. They'd need to be minimally turned, but Advance and usually O'Reilly's do that for $10 each. I do NOT have the caliper-knuckle bolts, so if those are different you'd need to source them from Nissan.

Shipping would be the big SOB, I wouldn't ask too much $ for the 4 rotors.

rotarymike I'm interested in the brakes and I just moved to Charleston!

rotarymike 09-09-2021 02:19 PM

Sent a PM.

rotarymike 10-13-2021 05:09 PM

These are still available. Say $500 + shipping, and I'll include the rotors.

Jake's G37x 10-14-2021 09:39 PM

Are these only the fronts?

If you wouldn't mind, please text me at 508-298-8066. I am much more likely to see your message in a timely fashion through text than through the forum. Thank you.

rotarymike 10-15-2021 07:38 AM

Will contact that guy directly, but for the rest of the room it is for front and rear.

GhettoPharoah 10-20-2021 02:03 AM

I am interested PM me please

rotarymike 10-20-2021 10:11 AM

Update after looking over the rotors for a previous buyer: Not sure if they're worth it to ship. One of the rears has dings from being beaten off the hub that I'm not sure would machine out with having them turned. Also, the box is 100# and I can't do free shipping on that LOL like RCA Garage or Amazon could - you might be better with new stock rotors from one of them or RockAuto with free shipping.

They *are* available for pickup in Charleston, if you want them. Otherwise they're weights for my rucking backpack.

GhettoPharoah 10-20-2021 12:41 PM

I am interested in the calipers w/ lines only. Are they still available to be shipped?

rotarymike 10-24-2021 12:37 PM

That guy is PM'd.

FWIW, shipping info is:
Shipping address 29418
1 box 14x17x8 30 pounds
1 box 15x22x8 17 pounds

It's pricey, even via UPS Grounds.
