WTT 2 Stock 19x8.5's for 2 Stock 19x9's.
2 Attachment(s)
Seeing if anyone is willing to trade 2 stock Enkei 10 spoke 19" x 9" wheels and tires for my 2 stock Enkei 10 spoke 19" x 8.5" wheels and tires and possibly some cash depending on quality. Wheels are in excellent shape with no curb rash and tires are towards the end of their lifespan (yokohama's). Center caps can be swapped and lug nuts are not included.
I would like to do this as a local trade to central Florida if at all possible.. would really like to avoid shipping; especially since my fronts are still on the car and I kind of need them to get around. I will make some exceptions to shipping if you just happen to have stocks lying around and not on your car; but obviously you'd have to ship the wheels to me first so I can put them on before I can ship mine to you.. Thanx |
posted pics.. can post more if someone wants them.. i don't expect too many people, especially on this site, want smaller wheel width :p

weekly bump!

i know someone wants some thinner wheels!

In florida as well, what's the difference between the rear and fronts, when it comes to performance or ride quality? I have a set of coupe wheels and would rather run a squared set up.

And again, w/ such a minimal width difference you won't notice any real change running a squared setup w/ a 8.5 compared to a squared setup on the 9", but will make a full rotation possible w/out dismounting any tires as you don't want wider rims in front, narrower in back. |
Thanx Newt, you are the resident encyclopedia!
And just to add, the only time you would possibly see a difference is when the swap is made.. which would be due to, possibly, a different set of tires in the front and back.. and different tread wear. A balance probably couldn't hurt either. I have Yokohama's which are 255/45/R19 in the fronts |
thanks for the reply boys. I'm down to do the swap once I get my hands on the wheels, the kid I bought them for is waiting for his to ship which should be by tomorrow but we will see. Maybe we can end up meeting half way in West Palm or something. I would eventually have to run the same tire size all around correct? So it can all be proportioned and being able to rotate the wheels on a regular basis? I believe he has stock tires with 225/45/19.
