im assuming its easy to remove the knob???

really really easy.

just pull down on the ring at the top of the leather boot and then remove the retaing clip and the knob pops right off.

no Canada. but don't worrie about the shipping it will not be that much. I ship and receive stuff from the states all the time.

man look s like we might both be out of luck. The wife cannot find it. I am not sure how hard she looked but she said it is not on the shelfe where i had it. I will look more when i am home but that is not until the middle of may. sorry man thought i could help you out.
