So far this is where I'm at. Only had the car for 3 months, so its a work in progress i suppose. Eibach pro kit, Status Elite Intakes, BBS 18's plasti dipped matte black with glossifier. 235/45-zr18 General G-max tires. 6k HID's, all interior lights replaced with led, midnight grille, "hella slow" Plate frame, debadged.
Exhaust, 35 %Tint, blacked out chrome window trim and ditching the lame stock spoiler are up next on the agenda. Attachment 151030 Attachment 151031 |

Lol. I did indeed. Comes off pretty easy though if you put enough on. i didnt do a very good job on the first wheel i sprayed. was able to remove the plasti dip within 15 mins with just my finger nails and re-sprayed it. Ill try to take some pics when my new center caps come in, bought the wheels used on Craigslist had very scratched up and faded caps.

My 2009 G37s I bought on Monday. Really loving it so far. |

Figured i'd post my first pics... When I bought it in February, the weather didn't cooperate for a while... The wheels are Enkei M52s. 18s so I could keep it cheap and re-use the rubber. Since the wheels are 0.5" wider than stock, I can go a bit wider when it's time to replace. I got the wheels for $600 to the door. I've got other stuff to buy and a retaining wall to build this summer to dropping $2K plus on really nice wheels was out of the question. Second pic is my current "toy". Last is the "garage". Baby bear, Mama bear, Papa bear. The Miata is my folks.. I'm putting brakes on it for them so that takes a few weeks, you know, and I have to make sure they're all bedded in and what not. My wife and I often swap our kids for the Miata. They take the kiddos overnight, we get the Miata. It's a good deal.

You could hear the bumper cover scraping I bought the car last fall with 35% tint and it has the performance wheel option that I like. I might black out the chrome, add a rear window spoiler and consider blacking out the roof, although I don't know if it would be worth the effort based on the color. Intake and exhaust are options, however not near term. I have a Zapco 5 channel, Audio Control LCQ-1,Morel separates and an Alpine Type-R leftover from my previous car so something with the stereo. I like the Bose but it could benefit from low end support (<35Hz) and I need to add a 12db low pass crossover to the mids @ 4.5KHz. I'll also insulate the front doors and consider amping the doors with 100 watts to the woofers and 100 watts to the mids/highs, possibly replacing the tweeter with the Morel if I can get it to fit. The steering wheel could use a re-wrap and with the stone interior the steering wheel is all the same color and I may swap the switches and trim for black to add some contrast. Otherwise, just enjoying the car. -Eric |
