Thumbs up Good Ridence Chrome Trim!

Finally got the ugly chrome trim vinyl'd by a local guy I know. The results are amazing, our sedans should have came like this or atleast with an option. This should be the FIRST mod everyone with a sedan should do. It looks awesome on my malbec black (35% window tint)

please excuse my camera from my iPhone, its winter and the car is dirty.

i have to agree. i actually had to change the scheme of my entire car after i did the trim. i had really dark tints on prior, but after wrapping the chrome trim, i actually opted to take off the tints - too dark. despite, looks awesome! our cars are almost identical! lol

I liked the chrome. Gives shape and shows the lines. Unless you're going to black out everything?

Looks great. This in on my Spring to-do list (along with the grille and chrome finisher on the trunk).

I dont like the chrome lining. but I have a coupe. again I think sedans have to come with chrome cause they are more into luxury than sports, just personal opinion. car looks great btw!

not blacking anything out, I have the legal tints so its not too dark when you look at it in person. The car is pretty dark to begin with, the midnight-black grille along with its exterior and interior color makes it look as if its dark. Im holding off till spring to install the oem front chin that I have sitting here.

Looks sharp!

I was planning on doing the same but went 20% on my tint so it might be too dark if I vinyl the trim. Couldn't do the 35% just too light for me!

it may or may not, the black trim will really compliment your car, but if you do so then you will have to black out the front grille and what not, plus 20% tint is quite dark indeed, unfortunately here in MA the legal limit is 35% only..

Looks good bro. But yes it is just a start to wanting to get rid of your chrome completely and then like every other mod it just snowballs from there...

35% is our legal limit but the rebel in me could do it. I already plan to blk out the grill and the chrome spoiler. 20% is dark but even at night you can still see in the car. Well see how it goes
