Another Bluebat's overlays installed on MW

I am not so happy with these since my installer left scratches on my taillight and overlays so bad.

I asked them if they install overlays and they said yes.
After he's done, he said he had only few expereinces with this.:mad:

Even if I took off the overlays, it would look bad since there are so many deep scratches on the taillights. Looks like he tried to chop the taillight.

If it were installed by a professional, I would be extremely happy..

Here's what I ordered:
Opaque GTR Taillights Overlays
Rear Valence Overlays
Roof Overlays

My left side of the taillight looks darker than the right side.
Is this because of the light? or possibly I received and installed the 6/10 on the right?

also just wondering.. did anybody put wax on the overlay?

Why did they trim the inside of your rear diffuser overlay? Looks better if it wraps under the license plate.

I have no clue man :dunno:
I won't trust my local shop anymore :mad::mad:

Sorry for your bad luck. The shop that did mine actually removed my tail lights from the car to wrap them. Probably not necessary but looks amazing.

Car looks hot man.

Looks like Fast Intentions.

I never tried wax on the roof, but the vinyl is very sensitive. I removed it after a year because it looked very dull and there were too many spots on it. Water spots and tree sap dry into the vinyl quicker than on the paint, and they DONT come out.

I knew it wouldn't last forever, but I was kinda expecting longer than a year. Do you think that putting wax on the overlay will help a little bit?

Fast Intentions Exhaust. Nothing sounds better than this, IMO.
Too bad I can't hear it from outside because I have to drive.

I even can't count how many times I've heard compliments on this:)

I dont know you can ask Andy, but i doubt it. Maybe theres some sort of waterproof seal? My car is parked under a tree that has a lot of sap, I literally wash my car, and 2 hours later i see tiny specs of sap on it. Maybe if your car is garaged or under no trees it will last longer. Water spots however are something that need to be dried immediately or else if they bake in the hot sun you wont get them out.

it does look darker on the left one... i had bluebats and then ripped them off and went with the stuff my local installer had.... the overlay is like 5 times thicker and will last for a long time...... but mine are super dark overlays though

The super thick stuff is the Laminex

I have an installer in the LA area. I'm sorry to hear of your experience with your installer. I can do another set at discount if you'd like and refer you to one of my installers. On a side note, I think my opaque black would look good for the tails :).
