So what is the best engine out there?

I think the V8 Hyabusa Engine They weigh 250 lbs and have around 400 hp. If we were talking about something commonly available, an LS7 would be nice.

I'd love to get my hands on an F1 engine used on the Saturn 5 rockets!

Wright double cyclone. Best engine for minivans (assuming you can fit it in the body).

Kind of a stupid question.

Best engine for what? A truck? An economy car? A NASCAR car?

You're thinking small. P&W R4430. 36 cylinders, compound supercharging, 3,000+ HP.

I'm not sure a minivan could take the 4000 pounds of the bigger Pratt.

So there's actually two "double cyclones" - a twin cyclone making about 1600hp and a duplex cyclone making about 3500hp.
