I mean if Toyota releases this Supra, Infiniti better make a good black Sport Q60 model, that is lighter in weight with a better transmission.

If it is indeed a bmw source engine, I'm pretty sure it's going to be at least 335 at the wheels.

BMW powertrain...lot of potential with a lot of irritating issues and pump failures. Also - AT only (and not DCT either)....So basically, Toyota's version of the Stinger; and at probably $60k+ as they try to take advantage of the mk II's memory..I'll pass.

Won't happen, but it would be savage if Infiniti quit messing around and unleashed a powerhouse Black S to squash this release.

Will be a good competitor to the Z. Hopefully this pushed them on a new Z.

I don't think this directly competes with anything that Infiniti makes at the moment. As others mentioned, it will likely compete with the Z. In fact I think it will be a 2 seater nto a 2+2.
Interesting that it might not wear the Toyota name... Gazoo??? That may take some explaining to people lol

Nahh before they give anything to the Z, it's going to be released in a black sport model first, the 2+2 coupe.

Then they'll put it in the 2 seater Z. I don't like the Z33 and Z34 design scheme, it's too rounded, I think they should go back to a Z32 chassis design with a modern flare.

Interesting perspectives. Based on the pricing of the original @ $50k for twin turbo, I would see the new vehicle competing with the Nissan GT-R and nothing from Infiniti.

Not like the new Q60 are flying off the shelves. Their SUV's seems to be selling. The Q50's are doing worst each month.

The G35 put Infiniti on the map I believe. And affordable semi-Luxury coupe that looked and sounded amazing. It was a driver's car.

Too bad they went away from that. But I guess the money is in the Soccer Mom's.
