Wow that's crazy. I read they revamped the system so that the fluid for the clutch backs was separate from the rest of the system in order to prevent any shavings and debris from messing them up but apparently that's been no help. I wonder if you can add additional cooling somehow. Looking at the wiki, it says they were using a ZF transmission so why on earth they'd move away from that is odd given the ZF's track record. Besides the PDK, torque converters are catching up to dual clutch set-ups so they might switch back if the issues continue.

Steer clear of the 6.3's
I just sold my 2005 E55, now that was a car! However, the mileage was getting too high & maintenance time & $ were driving me nuts
Either way AMG = All Money Gone

Asian guy maybe early 30's
Told him to be prepared for $2-3K per year in maintenance - his wife was skeptical but he couldn't refuse the lure
Car was in excellent condition mechanically & visually
