from the past of when i was still a kid going to school, junior high probably. I saw this really cool car going around the track, time attack, with this awesome and really cool Japanese song. I think its a Japanese Christmas Song, but I'm not sure. It's one of the first Skyline videos I ever watched, before I even knew what a Skyline really was.

Year's later i tried looking for this video again just because I really liked it, the music in it, etc, the R34 looked awesome but it was taken down or deleted idk. I then years later just found it again!

Here's the song to the above Skyline video.

And that's my first Skyline video in a nutshell. Looks like I was right, it is a Christmas song. Nice soothing voice.

A collectible R33 Skyline GT-R, the LM (Le Mans) edition R33 Skyline GT-R. Nissan factory produced to commemorate entering 2 R33 Skylines in the 1995 24 hour Le Mans race. Only 188 road spec versions were produced from the Nissan factory.

The LM R33 Skyline GT-R was created as a FR vehicle, it was not the traditional AWD like the other factory produced R Skyline GT-R's. In other words, the rarest R33 gen Skyline GT-R, the LM edition, is actually Rear Wheel Drive. How's that for blurring the lines on what makes a Skyline a GT-R spec vehicle?

This video is highlighting the LM edition in its race spec gear, as the aero kit does not match the road spec LM R33 in previous video, VS a road spec R33 Skyline GT-R V spec model.

Side note: Did he say the "rarest Nissan to exist?" Well 2 race spec R33 LM's were entered in the Le Mans in '95, and 2 VQ twin turbo powered 34 chassis Skylines were entered in JGTC in '03-'04. That still makes Sam's RB powered 36 chassis Skyline the rarest Skyline to exist. Since there is only 1 example of a 36 chassis Skyline being powered by the RB engine.

R34 Skyline GT-R, Nissan factory built, aftermarket modified and tuned by Mine's. Vehicle is in possession of V Spec Performance out in Australia.

"The incredible Mine's R34 GT-R N1, 1 of 3 in the world and we have one in our possession. This is an original Mine's built GT-R for Mine's themselves. This GT-R includes one-off silver carbon mirrors, wing stands and wing blade with it's signature BBS wheels and iconic Mine's livery.

Another Mine's tuned R34 Skyline GT-R pulling in after hot laps. Still disappointed Mine's did not tune later Skyline gens like the V35 and V36. Hopefully, with the Black Sport V37/Q60, they'll be inspired to start tuning Skylines again.

V37 Skyline GT-R/Infiniti Q60, sport dedicated model termed the Black S.

Totally agreed with video, Infiniti would set the enthusiast community on Fire if they release this sport dedicated model as a 6 speed.

I thought it was interesting you mentioned two VQ-powered Skylines in '03-'04 so I was trying to read more about those. Did you mean VG powered?

No these 34 chassis skylines were mentioned a bit ago on the thread, and elsewhere, they are the JGTC '03 and I also am sure the '04 Xanavi Skyline's. They were powered by a VQ30DETT V6 twin turbo engine. They were the last racing spec 34 chassis gen Skylines built by Nissan. I like to call them V34's since they are using the VQ V6 instead of the RB straight 6 twin turbo.

There's a video on these skylines earlier in the thread. The twin turbo VG V6 powered the Z32 generation Z, not the Skyline.

No Nissan factory built twin turbo V6 has ever powered a Skyline, EXCEPT the VQ30DETT and VR30DDTT V6 engines.

Of course aftermarket custom spec twin turbo V6 engines like the VQ37VHR-TT and VQ35DETT/VQ35HRTT were built by the enthusiast focused customer through third party tuners around the world.

Stance guys know how to make a car video. R33 Skyline GT-R stanced.

I wanted to juxtapose a white and stanced V36 Skyline 370GT with the white R33 above.

The rarest Nissan factory R33 Skyline GT-R is rear wheel drive. What a coincidence with the relevance to this thread and it's content.

Great original shots! Yes the LM R33's come in that distinctive blue color, I think it's called royal blue. With the GT-R SKYLINE logo on the C pillar. Those are just some of the visual aspects, obviously there are many more spec changes that make it a factory LM edition.

Totally awesome modded Z convertible. Probably my favorite looking Z on the web.

And a Q60 Skyline, beautiful side profile shot, love the look of this car as well.

I really like the Q60 looks. I think the Project Black S is going to be the closest Skyline GT-R we're going to get for a while.
