Someone at the meet-up had a BBK where the rotor top-hats were all corroded. Who was it, and what's up with that? In comparison, my rotors are all original, and no rust. And that's with Upstate NY winters, where the roads are heavily salted.

I'm asking because if those are aftermarket rotors, it would be good to know which ones. The general consensus on the forum is that StopTech is the go-to for replacement rotors. But if those are StopTechs, and they rust out, then no bueno.

John check out Centric Hi Carbon front rotors and the Centric blanks for the rear. Both have the black e-coating on the top hat which eliminates the opportunity for rust. Links are below. Both are offered in a cryo-treated option as well.

Well, I must add my 2 cent here. Everyone at the meet knows I'm from GA. So I passed thru the now much talked about VA and by my own rules which seem to line up with what Connor was saying...while I hardly ever stuck to the speed limit...I always run about 9 miles over unless I'm in the middle of a pack. I tend to ride the middle lane unless passing. At certain points the middle of the pack was quite brisk. But I say this to say...thanks the G37 Gods...I made it home (even passing thru Va) ticket free.

Nice looking lineup, wish I could've made it, maybe next year, need a black 6MT there

Any photos near the water? That lot looked like it had a nice lakefront stretch.

And I'll agree driving in VA can be annoying, at least in NoVA with out-of-state plates. I drive about 10mi in a typical week, and got my first two tickets down here within a year. And I don't drive aggressive at all, VA's traffic enforcement can be unforgiving (i.e. illegal to make a u-turn at an intersection with a parking lot driveway, MUST be an actual street...). Ignorance is no excuse, but there is a balance of practicality vs. safety that is not always realized, IMO

Although I do like the rings in the taillights, as a sort of Skyline heritage, those cutoff lights make the car look very aggressive and unqiue. Great shots

Nice pic from tail of the dragon. It's been a few years since I've been out there. Did you hit the surround roads too (TN28, BRP, etc)?

The motorcyclist behind you is begging to have his head taken off. Being near the yellow line can be dangerous when oncoming traffic crosses over into it.

Unfortunately I didn't get to hit TN28 and not sure what BRP stands for, but Foothills Parkway was quite nice on the way there from our cabin in Pigeon Forge.

Yes it certainly looks like he was begging for his head to be taken off but trust me he was a professional, he rides there all day probably every other day must have been a local seeing how incredibly fast he was gone from our sights was just unbelievable and I wasn't going slow either.. I guess I am guilty of cutting one turn but that was when I knew it was clear as I had my buddy co-piloting me when I couldn't see certain angles from my position and he could see more and also saw the photographers on that curve so I wanted to take that turn as quick for a nice picture or a few. All the other times I was in my lane except this one time where I knew I was good, so just incase anybody decides for negative comments, no need for that

No, actually lol. His mirrors are an entire different shape all together. Different hinge system and the mirror itself is more of a teardrop shape.

My mirrors (minus the base) are identical to the sedan. Mirror caps are interchangeable which is pleasantly convenient.

The 07-08 side mirrors are different... Is that what you're saying? I didn't know that at all.

Sean said "your" when quoting me, but apparently addressing Liam. Hence the confusion.

Connor, are those Obsidian Black mirror caps on your car, painted, wrapped or aftermarket?

I wouldn't bother. But if you really want to, then go all the way with power folding mirrors w/puddle lights. There's something completely pointless and absolutely amazing about power-folding side-view mirrors.
