Wait... you sure you don't mean the Hilton Garden Inn, in Wilkes-Barre? Not the Hilton in Scranton. I ask, because, well, Wilkes-Barre is closer to the Park, and the Hilton in Scranton is more expensive. I called, and they can't give me the rate you just quoted. Whereas the Hilton Garden Inn in Wilkes-Barre is at the $103 you mentioned.

So Scranton? You're staying in Scranton, and not Wilkes-Barre?

I used KAYAK - Cheap Flights, Hotels, Airline Tickets, Cheap Tickets, Cheap Travel Deals - Compare Hundreds of Travel Sites At Once to book the hotel. The one in Scranton was cheaper, by about $50 than the one in Wilkes-Barre.

Connor, what are you doing for a hotel? Scranton is certainly further away than WB, but I suppose it doesn't matter that much. If I'm staying overnight, I just want to hang for breakfast with a good group before heading home, is all.
Can't believe you two booked Scranton, LOL.

Well if we want to stay close then I suppose we should book in Scranton. It's 20mi away and roughly a 30 min drive from Wilkes-Barre.
The $109 rate is lowest because it's a no-cancellation, non-moveable reservation. The best I could do is $118 for this same rate, however I can move it or cancel if need be. We don't have to stay at the same hotel, however I'd like to be close to Chris and Kirk so we can get some breakfast and roll out.

I'll book the Scranton Hilton, too. Fine.

Suppose we should start trolling Scranton now for a place to hang for dinner and beer.

Done and booked.
So far, RexHavoc, '11G37S, connoisseurr and myself are booked at the Hilton all the way over in Scranton. If anyone else is staying overnight, that's where we'll be.

W00t W00t! Glad the extras are slowly coming together.
Next plan will be coordinating BBQ supplies. I'd be in for supplying charcoal and dogs/brats/pop-opens (or if you know them as whitehots).
I'm assuming all we need is dogs & burgers, conidments, sides, plates/napkins/utinsels, drinks (non-alchoholic as we will be in a State Park), and anything else that I'm forgetting.
Also, I'd recommend bringing a lawn chair for yourself in the event post up in a parking lot.

Should we get a list going of what everyone is going to bring to the BBQ? Something similar to the phone number sheet?
