Just got back from the dealer... my car is in and will be prepped for delivery on Friday. My sales guy let me take home the manuals tonight, so I have some good reading to do. Some pics of the unprepped car:

WellBelowH2O, she is a beauty. If this is your first Infiniti, get ready for the ride of your lifetime.

Congratulations, car looks sick, even with all that wrapping on it!! :p

I wonder why a dealership on the east coast got G37s before a dealership 1 hour away from the port. I'm assuming that the allotments for dealerships further away were shipped out due to longer shipping time?

Thanks everyone... this is actually my 2nd Infiniti... I have a '05 G35 that I'm doing an early termination on (and it's gonna cost a pretty penny) Can't wait for everyone else to get theirs!

That's not true, Miller Infiniti in Van Nuys had their shipment yesterday.

Oh ok. Nevermind then. lol

I find it extremely awkward that Riverside Infiniti hasn't received their cars yet.

Yeah, early terminations can cost a pretty penny. I almost paid $4,400 to get out of an early lease with Ford.

Congrats! I almost stopped by there tonight but just didn't feel like it. I guess I should have...lol.

Yours is similar to the one I have reserved except mine has a spoiler.

I guess I'll be stopping by there tomorrow. Hopefully they don't screw me on my trade in, if they do I'll be waiting on the G37.

I am definitely ready to get rid of the Z though. The road noise, rattles, etc are really starting to drive me nuts...you could say its a bit less "refined"....lol.

Van Nuys is closer to Long Beach than Riverside, but a couple of miles shouldn't take 24 hours. Unless the car is being transported via snail mail. :D

Nice of your salesman to give you the heads up on the car being in the lot and letting you look at the manuals. Just out of curiosity, did you pay for it already, or are you going to wait till the test drive etc.

lol. I guess there was no real plan on the whole shipping system... just gather the cars up and just ship them out. No real plan like "Ok, ship these cars out first, these cars out second..."

congrats on the new car
