Hello all, my name's Jose and this is my 2012 G37x. I've had her since she had 32,xxx miles and today stands at 113,xxx miles. It's been a great daily driver, has its issues, but has been one of the most reliable cars I've ever owned. I bought this car at a fairly young age through budgeting and hard work. Thank God today I am in a better financial situation so I have some plans for this coming up. I'm looking forward to being part of the community

Good looking car. I have the same one, just 2013 and graphite color. Not sure if it is the picture or not, but your passenger headlight looks to be getting filmed over. Nice to see you on here

Hi Jose, nice to see your first post, don't wait so long for your 2nd :)
Look forward to seeing what plans you have.

Thanks.
Good eye I never noticed how bad the headlight was until I posted that picture.

Thank you.
For now I'm doing steering and suspension modifications/improvements, and a few aesthetic changes. Eventually I'll do wheels and the typical bolt on modifications. I've flirted with the idea of forced induction but this car has been so reliable I'm not sure I want to go that far.

Welcome Jose, sounds like you have some solid plans for upgrades, be sure to post some pics of your work when you make your mods.

Odds are real good that there was repair work before you bought the car that included a new headlight. Then after years of ignoring the headlight lenses, time caught up with you and now there's one lens that's aged years more than the other.

There are lots of products and DIY videos out there for headlight lens restoration. It's also a pretty common service at body, detail & tint shops. Do some local networking, and you'll find options.

Hmm, my car has the same issue. Might have been replaced as well.
