New G37 owner from NJ

Hello all, I purchased my 2012 G37xS 7AT about a year ago when i was looking for a new daily. I have had a phenomenal ownership experience to this point and could not be happier with the car. The car has been very lightly modified and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the proper direction on where to go for the next phase of the modification process. This car is my daily so i would prefer to keep it as driver friendly as possible, but i was thinking of adding a Stillen long tube CAI, a set of black chrome OEM 19 inch wheels, and a set of BC Racing coils. Thank you and its an honor to be part of VQNation

Welcome to the site and Nice G! I'm a big fan of the Obsidain black. Your mod list sounds solid, there are a few threads on here about top 3 or top 5 mods with tons of posts..

Nice intro! Unfortunately the X platform doesn't have a huge selection of suspension options vs. the RWD and most all the coilovers will really firm up the ride. If you want to maintain your comfort for daily driving you might consider just running some Swift lowering springs if your current shocks aren't too tired. Intakes sound good when you're on the pedal but don't get much gain and tend to sacrifice low end torque (which is already on the low side). If you can run High Flow Cats in your area I'd go that route first, and consider lighter wheels w/ a bit less positive offsets to push them closer to the fender edge. Might be able to find wheels that are lighter & stronger for the same price that the OEMs in black chrome would cost. At any rate, glad you found us and it's already a great looking ride!

Thank you so much for the advice, the car only has 58,000 miles on it and i plan on keeping it for a while, I really like the idea of going with swift lowering springs as long as the drop is not too aggressive and the ride quality is a tad firmer but not to harsh compared to stock. High Flow Cats would be a perfect mod as well, yielding sound gains, performance gains and while eliminating that dreaded stock cat heat shield rattle in the process.
