if I can find the title to my old Acura Hooptie.

What's consensus first mods to do? Is there a decent market of accessory and upgrade parts?

Best bang for buck was a g37s convertible/370z Nismo rear sway bar. Takes all that pesky understeer out of the X Sedan's chassis.

I got mine for $79 off eBay.
VQ35HR intake plenum, sub $200 for 10-15hp in the mid range.

Where do you get those bars? Dealer parts department?

I also have a Miata, which some of you might know has a pretty vigorous mods market. When I replaced the sways on my Miata, there was a Mazda dealer who was selling a tuned package of sways from an RX8.

I got mine off eBay for $75. Just make sure the 1x1" paint mark on the very center is blue. This annotates the Nismo 370z, IPL, and/or G37S convertible spec.

Speaking of swaybars, be sure to pick up C-clamps. Stock are too small.

Im thinking I'd like a drop and new shoes. Seems to be the things that jump out at me so far. But that is in the future. My wife says I need to spend money on stuff like our daughters wedding later this year. And she's not buying the fact that the car will look like it's wearing flood pants and combat boots for the wedding. I'll prolly do the sways this spring. Do people do both ends? Seems like some are upgrading only one.

Somehow I deprogrammed the passenger window auto-up, but thankfully it's an easy solution. Other owner set-up things like Homelink and phone connection etc have yet to be done cuz it's been sofa king cold the past couple of weeks, not to mention DARK when I'm away from work.

I'm actually glad it doesn't have the active cruise control thing. My wife's Subaru has Eyesight, and I don't like how it nags and seems to judge me.

X has largest front bar and smallest rear bar from factory. Coupe or sedan sport rear bar, or a 370Z Nismo bar, are all the same and the largest from Infiniti/Nissan. X front and Sport rear is best combo of OE sway bars.

You can occasionally can find the rear bar on our classifieds forum.

Except for front dampers, any coupe, sedan, or 370Z suspension parts swap. X front dampers are different to clear the front axles.

You will find this info in the suspension forum. As one wag said many years ago, there are no new questions, only new people.

Rear bar info is not correct. 370z base/sport, g37s sedan/coupe rear bar is 24.2mm and identified by a white mark. 370z nismo s-tune, IPL, and g37s coupe convertible is 25.4mm and identified by a blue mark.

I was able to install my nismo 370z rear sway bar with the stock c-clamps. Everything seems fine.

Clamps are the same. Bushings are sized for the matching bar.

My sedan S bar is 25.4 mm. I will have to check it for a paint mark.
