G37 from Lexus

Through a series of unfortunate events, my sons QX4 blew the motor. He ended up with my 2000 GS400 and I found this 2012 Sedan with 43k on it. Completely stock but I hope to change that over time.

I own a 2004 I35 ( wife's car) and have owned the QX4 and an older J30t. Each of those cars have their own special problems which forced me to look at ANYTHING other than Infiniti. I came across this car by accident, drove it and of course HAD TO HAVE IT! I'm anxious to make it even more fun to drive!

Great site, looking forward to getting tips from the experts!

Welcome to the site, looks like a clean G you found.

What plans are you considering for it?

Thanks!

Short term and from what I understand is a quick win:

Cold Air Intake(s)

Longer term:

Exhaust

Suspension

I was just watching the YouTube video with the Stock / Stock + K&N/ Stillen+K&N dyno comparison, pretty impressive gains from what I can tell.

All of this stuff is a nice to have and something that will require a sales pitch to the finance committee at home but I'll make it happen!

Go with r2c drop ins and mishimoto post maf tubes. Simple and effective...they also cost about $170 total.

After that get some sway bars. I purchased godspeed and have had them about 1.5 years without a single issue. I just relubed the bushings and noticed no problems at all. It will change the driving dynamics for the better.

Those should be your first mods...then go crazy from there.

You should probably change those wheels as well. I did.
