Squaring rims?
 

Hi everyone,
I have a 2009 G37X non-sport Sedan with stock rims and tires all around 225/55R17, I've been thinking about obtaining a set of G37S coupe OEM sport rims (Yes, yes I know.... ohh so original right?)

Part 1:
Anyhow, my question is should I track down 4 19x8.5 rims or the 19x9 ones? An alternative option would be to buy a set of staggered rims and fit a 245/40 tire all around.

Part 2:
Depending on the answer to part one for the 19x8.5R19 set up I will run 225/45 if it's the 19x9 rims I'll run the 245/40R19 correct?

I played around with the calculator and it seems tracking down the 19x9 rims would offer the least amount of diameter difference/ closest to OEM compared to the 19x8.5 set up.

PS: I know this topic has been covered probably 23899484 times, but if you guys could chime in to help a newbie out, that would be awesome. Also I am aware from reading the forums I'll need a new set of lug nuts as well :)

Run 245/40s all around regardlesss if it's 8.5, 9, or staggered. That 1/2" stagger won't effect outside diameter and the 245/40 has the closest to OEM diameter and is a better width on either wheel.

Every so often there will be a set of squared stocks for sale but not too common.
Best bet, piece it together via craigslist, ebay...etc. You can do it a lot cheaper too.
Keep an eye out for people parting out wrecked Gs and purchase the front or rear pair, depending what size you go with.
