Hey guy's yet another newbie on the forums with a couple Q's

Recently purchased a 2008 G37S from the dealership I work for (got a killer deal on it) anyways not relevant.

Just a couple things about the car I was wondering you guys coule help me with!

1)The previous owner removed the rear badges and did an "okay" job removing the glue. I can still kinda see the outline of where the badges were. I've used GooGone for about 30 minuets and still see it so any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated!

2)The previous owner also plastidipped the wheels....need I say more? Whats the best way to get that off.

3)Coil-overs? And by that I mean which ones should I be looking at. I'm not trying to get it so low that I can't drive it. Just a little lower to where it's functional but looking good at the same time.

3.5)Should I be looking at spacers as well with the coil overs? And if so what size?

Thats pretty much all I have for now as far as questions go.

Thanks a bunch.

Welcome to the site James, congrats on your G!

As far as "ghosting" from the badges, you'll probably have to use some compound follwed by a wax. A good mild compound is Meguiars Ultimate Compound followed up w/ their Carnauba wax.

Plastidip should peel off for the most part, maybe a solvent would help like goo-gone, not sure.

Coilovers, depends on budget, for a entry set the Tein Basis is worth a look, a Japanese company that makes good products, THMotorsports has them for a bit over $600. KWV1s are an excellent product, they go for about $1400 and the fully adjustable KWV3 (the gold standard around here) are about $1800 IIRC.

Wait until you get the drop you want then decide how much spacing you want, it's simple to add later so no need to rush into them.

Have Fun,
Brad
