Your dealer should take care of every detail for you, they will/should even handle the inspector (it's in their best interest)
Infiniti Corporate should have also been bombarding you with mailings starting about 6 months before your maturity date (car lease) AND sent you $$ off excess wear and tear coupons AND $$ off another Infiniti purchase. Ask your salesman, they should have them for you as well. Good luck and congrats!

Yeah so I called them today, and they have my address and everything right, but I haven't gotten anything from them!! The guy also told me that any wear and tear < $500 should be okay. But there was on mention of coupons for anything. I wonder if things are different in canada. My dealer did give me 4% of the MSRP for the new car though, which I thought was a reasonable deal. I know people who weren't able to get a single dollar off, because it's a new car and all that.....

I went back and looked at my docs, the $500 off a new/pre-owned Infiniti did come from corporate and branded with Infiniti of Tampa which is part of the Courtesy Automotive Group which is part of the Fortune 500 Asbury Automotive Group...With a group that size it may have been an advertising co-op / owner retention plan with corporate ... a quick call to Infiniti Finance might be enlightening (ask about their owner retention offers) and gain you an additional $500 off since corporate does reimburse the dealers AND you are an established owner ... OR ... take a trip over the border

Really? I thought invoice was generally about 8-9% below MSRP. Like, for the 08's, in the US, invoice was like 3500 below MSRP. So I figured it was about the same in canada, and I figured 4% off a 2009 car was not bad. They were giving great deals on the 08s, in some cases, liike 6-8K off MSRP, but there's no AWD for the coupe, which is what I wanted - hence my purchase of an 09.
And I did call infiniti today. We do have a customer retention plan, but it comes in the form of .25% of the APR when you lease the car. Seriously, earlier on in the year, I had considered importing (despite the headache and paperwork), but with the low canadian dollar, I probably won't be saving any money. Actually, if importing was an option, I would've gotten a GTR, since some are being sold at MSRP now in the states. Sometimes, I do envy the perks that come with having a larger population and customer base - you guys have way more options. There are 20 GTR dealerships in canada, and though the US has 10x our population, you have 691 GTR dealerships!!

Welcome. So did they have to order you one or find one from another dealer? When I was looking for my last G, they were going to truck one in from another dealer at a cost to me of $1200!!!!! I passed on that one...

No my guy was pretty nice about that too. They are shipping one in from a BC dealership (like 4000km away), and as far as I know, it's the only one in canada that fits my trim and colour combo. And they're not charging me for it either. I was a bit surprised, but hey, no complaints. I didn't know Athens Blue was this rare....
Oh and as an aside, I was at a talk yesterday given by Dave Williams (one of the few canadian astronauts who have been on space shuttle flights) and he drives a white G37S!
