F VA/DC Law, I'm getting a detector

He was driving around pulsing people searching for detectors all night using this primitive technique...interesting. I didnt bother coming up with excuses, he already knew...came to the window asked for the license, registration AND radar detector. I told him i spent a lot on it and i was a student, but he said he wasn't going to confiscate it anyway, just wanted the serial number.
