Lek's Stillen Sway bars Review

Alright.... haven't gotten a chance to rip it up... maybe will have to visit skyline drive...."blue" and others... but...

1st... car seems a bit more undercontrol... when steering there is quite a bit more resistance.

improvement in overall turns.... and lane changing you can also feel the difference.

Thanks to Devon!! for the awesome install.

Stay tuned for more info.

How does it change the understeer characteristic of the car? Can I drive it/ride in it? We can goto skyline and drive down hill. Ill put a half cup of water on your cup holder and well tow some tofu in your backseat.

The good old water and tofu test :p . It sucks we only were able to get my rear on. It does feel stiffer in the back in turns. I haven't tried to push it since I still have my stock fronts on. Gonna get it those damn bolts off/fix today, hopefully. Will keep up to date.

The car is definitely changed.... now its time to raise the limits of my car. The car feels stiffer I guess... I need to drive it more.

2nd day of review...

alright after normal driving... cornering is a lot less effort... where there used to be a need for countersteering, that need has diminished a lot. I'm sure if i push the car to it's limit the need of countersteering will come back.. can't wait to take it on some nice twisties

Time to go driving some more...

alright....

whats changed...

like mentioned before... turning...cornering... takes less effort in steering. It seems that before you'd have to wait for the rear to catch up to the front? Well thas how it felt to me.... but now.. the rear catches up to the front faster than before. so if you steer too aggressively you'll oversteer and spin out... once i feel the rear losing traction a bit.. i use the accelorator to give the tires some more grip. <--- not sure if you understand what im talking about but thats my impressions.

That makes sense considering you have soft front setting and med rear setting. A softer front will generally give it more grip and a harder rear will give it less. So then you'll feel the rear break loose before the front gives out.

Hmm. This is making me want to get some adjustable sways. I don't like the understeery feel when I push the car.

i like the understeer in some ways because it makes me feel like i'm doing something.. now i find myself anticipating the need to countersteer and it's like...waiting waiting waiting... dang... wtf... Maybe I need to do some hard cornering.... when i get the chance.
