Be careful with shims as this means that your pads and rotors will retain more heat. I used a set of these on my '09 STI and the pads got quite a bit hotter and chunked a bit.
However, they may help the life of the rubber seals on your pistons. How important are those seals anyway? Mine are melted pretty well.

I have the hard brake ones in 1mm. I also still have silver calipers (front and rear) but the pads and rotors get much hotter. Highly recommend installing cooling ducts up front and watching out for pad fade, maybe even going up a pad level
**EDIT** I see you already have the xp12/10 combo, so you should be OK. I have xp10/8 and the pads DEFINITELY overheat with the titanium shims, I will be going 12/10 for my next pads

I have Z1/Stillen brake ducts and Z1 2pc. rotors with XP12/10 pads and the rotors still got hot enough to temporarily turn red on the inner vanes and melt off some of the paint on the inside of the rotor.
I was amazed how much more I like the Carbotech pads compared to my Hawk DTC-60's that I have been swearing by for years. The Carbotechs seem to last longer and wear the rotors less on the same track. Completely opposite experience to when I used Carbotech pads on a WRX about 10-15 years ago and they got too hot and started chunking.

Unfortunately my Infiniti track days are over and I am returning my car to stock. I'll be taking the parts off over the next couple weeks, but thought I'd give this thread a heads up before I make a general for sale thread once parts are off. Happy to do a package price if you want more than one or several items:

Barber Motorsport Park Track Day
Since it's been quiet in here for a bit, I thought I'd post up a couple of my videos from my June Barber track day. As my car sits, it is comparable with a 2017 GT350. I know, I know, you say the driver wasn't pushing it and I would partially agree. But, I was playing leap frog with two GT350s at one point in time. They couldn't run away from me, and I couldn't quite run away from them. They'd kill me in the straights, I'd reel them in in the braking zones and the curvy sections. Comments, as always, are welcome. The video with the telemetry was my first time trying to marry my good GoPro Session 4 video with the Harry's Lap Timer data from my phone. I was probably a second off in their linkage. Need more experience doing this. Enjoy!

That looks like fun. I wonder how much faster your lap times would be if you were driving the GT350. I often wonder that when I pass a car that I know should be faster than me, but is just being driven poorly. Those GT350's sound awesome! I was at training all last week and another employee from another store had a brand new black GT350. She was a few cars ahead of me and I was turning down my radio just to hear her exhaust. And I think my exhaust sounds pretty good.

Ran another two days, this time at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. To be entirely fair, it's a bit of a boring track, even in Roval configuration. It's fast, and that's about it, so you just point and go and point and go. I was too scared to take the banking full tilt, and consequently only hit about 125mph at the front straight before I lifted.
