I'm confused by some of your suggestions to run higher pressure then typically daily driving? I drop my tires a full 7-10 PSI after my 1st or 2nd run. The tires heat up QUICK, and the pressure will increase with heat.
I dont really do autocross but at track events i typically run 32 psi all around and it comes up to a 38 or 40 usually after the first session. Then i just lower it a few more psi. For me, the magic HOT psi number is 38 all around.
