That blows my mind. Its not hard to count, or quality control check. Seriously its a matter of "Hey are there X number of bolts here before we send out an order to our paying customer? Nope missing 4, lets go get them and add them in"

I grabbed 80% of the bolts I needed today in SS. Local hardware store ran out. Cost me $32.

Sorry, but even his SS kit is over priced

Yea you can get most SS bolts, washers etc at one of the "box" stores, the rest you can get from your local bolt company. I was able to get most everything I needed at a very resonable price when I was building my last Jeep. Titanium I have not dealt with before.

Ya taz. Got most of them at the local hardware store.

I may have to get the rest at fastenal.com (which is right down the street from me.).

Still gonna be waaaaaayyyyy cheaper than what's on dressupbolts.com

I'm sorry, I know titanium looks good n all, but I can't see spending $175 on SS or $600 on titanium just for bolts for the engine bay.

This seems so much more simple and inexpensive to do the way I did it....not to mention I'm not having the communication problems.

Yeah, I went out and tried the DIY hardware store route. Is it cheap? Yes. Do hardware store fender washers look good? Not really IMO. Looked pretty ricey and jacked up IMO. Enough so that I determined that stock was better. Maybe you'll have better luck or like the look better than I did.

Ya gotta get the countersunk socket bolts. And the finishing washers (not fender washers) are no different when what dressupbolts sends you with their package...outside of them being titanium.

Personally.....I can't tell the difference.

But to each their own. Who am I to tell someone how they can spent $600?

Dressupbolts aren't anywhere near $600, even for titanium. $275 for all the engine hardware in titanium and $130 for stainless.

That is what I got. Maybe yours will look better than the crap I bought and you'll save $100.

Unless I'm doing it wrong. Which is entirely possible since its showing 2 in quantity. But I've done the "add to cart" a bunch of times and it always shows 2 in the cart.

Could be. But same thing happened to the SS when I did it.

Maybe it's the iPad?

I ordered my dress up bolts over a year ago. Full titanium in blue and paid the $275. IMO they were totally worth it and had no problems placing the order and reciving the product. Good luck!

Hey Rad_Slinger....I'm glad you were able to save yourself some money by going to your local hardware store and picking up your stainless steel hardware, good for you.

Now quit bashing OP's thread about wanting to get dressupbolts!

I am certainly not bashing nor trying to bash the OP thread, just stating there are other options out there to get a setup if the OP is having a hard time communicating with said company.

Sorry if it came across that way

I actually made contact with Chris at dressupbolts.com over the weekend. After talking with him on the phone, I took the plunge and sent payment thru Paypal. Checked my email this morning and it appears he/they created a shipping label yesterday and the package is being sent today.

I ordered the full titanium kit... Will keep everyone posted with arrival date, review, pictures and hopefully (crossing my fingers) no missing pieces
