The y-pipe replacement from exhaust depot increased my midrange torque noticeably. High flow Cats are the most simple way to improve low end torque in my opinion. It also adds a nice sound at city driving speeds. I had them on my car for a brief period and took them off because I didn't like hearing the hum of the cats at cruising speeds on the highway (around 77- 80 MPH). If you have a 7AT however the RPMs will be lower than the 5AT at cruising speeds and the sound will not be as loud. But if you are into hearing the exhaust while cruising it will be a non-issue for you. Other than that and the things you mentioned it is difficult to increase low end torque with simple mods.
Keep in mind too that CAI will generally reduce the low end torque slightly but will increase the top end.

Kahboom I like your commentary on power /hp/torque it clarified things for me... Quick question , other than CAI and dual exhaust and headers are there any fairly simple/mods to increase low end torque on the G? I still think the car has a pretty darn good balance of power and suspension as it is stock but the need to modify grows!!! Thanks ,Flipside
