Dyno results- loss of power with M370

Dyno results- after M370 install
Hey Guys,
Over the weekend I had my car put on the dyno. I had a base run with E370, RHFC's, drop-in filters and silicone tubes. The car made decent numbers: 289hp and 239tq.
My reason for bringing the car in was to have the M730 installed, have new spark plugs installed and to get a tune. So... after the M370/plugs were installed the car was put on the dyno again and lost power (9hp/5tq). By looking at the results it seems that it lost power in the area where it's supposed to gain (mid to upper mid-range) from the M370.
The shop was unable to tune it due to the fact that I have a newer ECM and they did not have the ROM file in their library. They made a copy of it and sent it to UpRev. The shop owner said it should be about two weeks before UpRev will send back the new ROM.
My questions:
1) Will a tune correct the loss of power?
2) Could there be any external factors for the loss of power (install of new spark plugs or the ECU needing to relearn, humidity, etc.)?
The solid line on the graph is the best run without the M370 while the dotted line is the best run with the M370. I'm sure I'm missing something so any constructive input is welcome.

Spoke with Tony from Motordyne and sent him the dyno sheet. He said that something didn't look right (too many variables in addition) and offered assistance when I go back for the tune. Customer support from Motordyne is outstanding!

I'm looking at your AFR plots and it doesn't seem like they're very far off. Definitely not enough to warrant the loss in hp and torque that you are experiencing.

A tune would "bring back" whp if the added bolt ons caused the engine to run too lean due to the increased flow. That is not the case in the above. A tune in his case will probably add a few degrees to his ignition timing and the gains would show irrespective of the M370. Again, I'm basing this on the dyno plot.

Uprev has sent the new ROM file back to the shop and I'm hoping to get the car tuned in two weeks. Will have an update then and hopefully some positive results. If not, there will be a M370 for sale . The car definitely feels different and is shifting different. Feels like there is more low-end torque and it shifts through the gears quicker. Maybe the ECU is still learning and the high level of humidity in the shop, post M370 install, caused lower then expected results. Just speculating as there are a ton of variables...

i can tell you i did not feel an immediate bump in power on my m370 untill a day or 2 later after driving for awhile..now i can feel the difference in the mid-range everytime...im sure they will do another dyno before they start tuning and hopefully you will have gained what you lost before the tune..but dont froget different days on the dyno will reflect diffrent number as well...im getting tuned monday but 2 years ago i had a dyno done and was at 314hp and 256tq..im not expecting anything near that now that im running 20s and its going to be about 30 degrees hotter when its on the dyno this time..

I did a lot of research on this with mine and had a couple other guys confirm similar results on their own. After tuning, there was more midrange, with about a 2whp loss up top. There was more average power over the curve. Posted below are my results. I had some bad O2 sensors, but both manifolds were tuned and tested under the same conditions.
