Jtran tuned our cars

Got my car tuned today with Datboiroy and Icpf1980

It was a 78 degree weather on a mustang dyno.

Baseline was 316 whp and 252 wtq

After tune came out to 332 whp and 252 wtq

Mods: Gen3, Motordyne, Art pipes, M370, E370

my car is 6MT

Here's my video, final run I got 302hp and 233tq

Mods: Stillen Gen3, Motordyne M370, E370 and Art Pipes.

Solid! I'm surprised to see a 30whp difference between same cars with same mods. MT vs AT?

yes.. that's pretty much the only difference.. Well that and I run 19's he runs 20's.

The gearing in the trans can effect results. Also, possible, increase in rotational mass and circumference (gearing) can make a big difference. There was an article years back in Turbo Magazine showing dyno differences just by changing wheel; sizes, weight/mass and, tire circumference.

So with a tune did you guys gain with the Motordyne manifold on the top end? Because I know they were gaining mid range and losing slightly on top end without a tune. So does a tune correct this?

I didn't do before and after dynos on any mods I had, but just from the tune alone I gain hp. I'll post the graph when I get a chance so you can see where the gain (from tune) starts from.

Here is the graph. He didn't include the 332 whp plot idk why but here shows the gain right around 5100 rpm from tuning
