Hey everyone, first post ever so if I did something wrong don’t kill me, but I just took the mufflers off my sedan (I know you guys frown upon that but I’m a broke teenager &#128540 and I’m wondering if the resonators on the coupe are the same as the sedan. If their not I want to try to get a shop to fit the coupe res on my sedan. I just can’t get over that coupe sound and how much better it is than the sedan

From the mid-pipe back, the coupe exhaust is entirely different than the sedan. The sedan is a true dual-exhaust after the Y-pipe whereas the coupe exhaust is a single pipe until inside the single muffler.

Look elsewhere to source resonators. Well, I suppose you could get two resonators from two coupe exhausts...

itd be a good mod. The sedan resonators are nearly twice as long as the coupes. Bad pic but you get the idea. The sedan res keeps going.
obviously not bolt on so cut and weld is a must

You're right. I was conflating the single muffler with only one pipe.
