Exhaust

so I recently got a Megan racing y pipe and custom centerpipe. But my exhaust keeps bruenjnf through the gaskets between the y pipe and center pipe. Just want to know some possible problems this could be so I can look into fixing it. I tried looking elsewhere before posting. But couldn't find anything

Put a thin coating of High temp RTV on both sides of the gasket and on the metal flanges, snug it down (not tight, just snug). Wait a couple hours, then fully torque down.
