Resonated HFC vs Non-resonated HFC

Hey guys was wondering what the difference between resonated and non resonated HFC was. I see that FI has a resonated HFC but Kinetix and BERKS are both non resonated. Trying to find the best fit for my Ark Grip exhaust system without it sounding terribly loud and raspy

Supposed to reduce drone and slightly quiet the exhaust down in regards to higher pitched noises

From experience, I've had the Berks HFC cats before but for me it was too loud and drone-y...I switched them with the Resonated HFC from F.I. and its was a good mix of sound, and loudness, with little drone.

Was the install easy? like just a typical bolt on? could my regular mechanic do it or do I have to go to an exhaust specialist?

The top bolts are a little harder to get to and if the bolts are rusted or ceased it becomes a bit more challenging but should be doable by a mechanic with a lift.

If you prep the bolts w/ a 50:50 mix of Acetone & ATF 24 hrs. prior it will make the bolts MUCH easier to break free, and yeah, a lift would surely make this within the scope of your mechanic.
