What's your "buy" price on a used R2C?
I can pick up an R2C CAI used for $300 with the black nickel finish. Should I offer $250 or is that considered low balling?
Also has anything changed since 2013, when these were bought, that a new set would have? |
At some point last year they did come out with a new Filter, but the actual intake itself hasn't changed that I'm aware of.
New - R2C "Black Hex Series" Race/Street Conical Filters http://www.r2cperformance.com/assets.../DSC003081.JPG As far as price goes...maybe figure out which filter it has on it first. |

For instance, I don't see the black nickel finish at all, and I don't see a way to swap the normal filters for the Hex series...but I do see how to buy the hex series outright. |

It has the standard filters, not the Black Hex. Is that a cosmetic update to the filter, or is there any functional advantage? I can't figure out how to order a new CAI with the black nickel finish with the hex filters. Their method of adding to the cart leaves much to be desired.

I got a Stillen Gen3 used off of ebay for $240 but filters were filthy I had the stuff to clean them though so I would offer around that.
