z1 headers vs. Stillen headers vs. Fast Intentions Long tube headers...

I turned every wrench on every part on this car with the exception on the headers so I totally get the reward BUT. Passenger side, easy, Drivers side, big pain in the ***. If its money you don't have to spend, fair enough, but once you really look at what has to be done, you may change your mind and get someone else to do it. Steering linkage all has to come off drivers side and then you will need to get alignment on Sedan. Took dealership 7 hours to do it, on jack stands I think you are probably in for a looong weekend, probably 12-14+ hours. My problem is time to do this stuff, not to mention I am in my mid 40s and concrete is no longer friendly to me.

Are you in Austin as well? I'd love to meet up sometime, and get some engine inspiration for upgrades.
Yes, so from the collector on the header all the way back to the tips are the same size. When I did a side by side comparison on Kinetix Racing Cats with the Z1, the inlet and the outlet hole on the Z1 CATS are larger, not to mention the Kinetix racing cats have rasp even though they claim little to no rasp, which is BS. You are correct and your ears do not deceive you, there is zero rasp with the Z1 CATS. If I ever hear anything, it is for one nano second when I try to put my foot on the exhaust header lol. But I rarely hear it and it doesn't sound silly.
On sedans there are only a couple of MFG that make header that work on Sedans, which you will not run into with the coupe I do not believe. Top Speed and Z1 were my choices and after looking at the workmanship of the Z1 I went with those. Stillen headers will hit the steering column under hard cornering and have heard there can be fitment issues on sedans, but not verified.
Are headers the most bang for the buck? No, but it is the culmination of all the upgrades that will get you a nice number on the dyno and being lucky and getting a "good G" from the factory. Realistically you are looking to spend $850 on headers plus $375 on CATS and $700 to have installed.

I will say, the z1 header is of amazing quality. To me it would of been worth the money for better quality, but forget about it if you have an X.

Z1 370Z/G37 SS Test Pipes
Hey guys, so i recently purchased the Z1 ss test pipes for my 08 G37S coupe. I also wanted to combo that with the Z1 headers but did not realize that those require the DE type test pipes. Just wanted to know what headers are compatible with my test pipes?
Here's a link to the test pipes I have https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...es-p-4748.html
