Exhaust too loud!

Well I now seem to have the issue with my exhaust being too loud that I would really like to attract not so much attention and be able to hear myself in my car.

Here are the options but I have no clue about a few of them....

1. Spray the undercarriage of the car with soundproofing material... Thinking a no due to the fact it looks bad. ($200-300)
2. Wrap the exhaust in a soundproofing heat shielding material. Although I have no clue where to get this stuff or who can do it. But I have heard it being done. (price unknown)
3. Put soundproofing matterial all throughout the interior of the car. ($500-800)
4. Install some resonators ($ TOO MUCH)

So let me know what you think or if you know anything about doing this please. I need Some help!!!

Cutting and welding resonators shouldn't cost too much; but then again it depends on which brand of resonators you get.

They have something that you can put in the tip to cut the noise level down. Not sure what it's called though. What exhaust do you have?

Sell the FI exhaust and get the Invidia. There are a lot of guys who would be interested in buying the FI exhaust.

I second this! I have berk test pipes and an invidia exhaust. Sounds incredible and its too loud at all. In my opinion if you want test pipes then invidia is the only exhaust to get if you do not want rasp or a really obnoxious exhaust sound.

Are you dead-set on keeping the test pipes? Swap those for HFCs and your volume will decrease. (Another option would be resonated test pipes.)

You might want to consider the FI resonated test pipes.

take off the testpipes. Comfort and performance are usually on the opposite ends of the spectrum.

+1 with taking off hfc or test pipes. Or sell it and go back to stock.
