reading this only confirms how the velocity stack worked on the DE engines...which was why almost everyone at one point had a popcharger on my350z.com...lol.

the 08 they were talking about was mine. The short ram was from Stillen and the loss of power was true. We were all so shocked we ran a few extra runs on the dyno, but still no gain. I wish they would post the facts though good or bad.

The article shows that the intake doesn't make a bit of difference really, except for the Cold Air part. A dyno run within 1 hp is well within acceptable error of the dyno and considering every time the engine runs it produces different power.

The "fact" is that most engines today are design to put out lots of Hp/displacement and most of the aftermarket companies trick you with noise, which is what most people who have played with this stuff will tell you....99% of all exhaust and intake mods are for your listen pleasure only.
