FI exhust and HFC's

:BOUNCE:Installed my Fast Intentions HFC's and exhust. The instructions where perfect. Getting the four bolts at the top of the converters was a bit of a challenge, I highly recommend another person to help. Other than me screwing up one of the O2 sensors, the install went perfect. Chucky's very happy, car sounds so good and the power's great across the entire power band. Thanks FI for a quality product :bowrofl:

congrats ....but how did u screw up the O2 sensor?

also, any tips on getting those top bolts off?.

I didn't put them on my self, but I know the place tht did mine had a really hard time taking off one of the top bolts. It took them almost a 1/2 hour more time because of it. I know there were some people that said that they just broke the bolt off because they couldn't get it off. So I can't tell you what they used sorry, maybe someone else can give you an idea.

Top bolts

:) I talked about the O2 sensor in a seperate thread. Check it out I made a rather long post. Before I started the removal I sprayed all the nuts and bolts down with PB Blaster, available at Autozone and most other parts stores, let it set about an hour then started the process of taking it apart. Saving the four hard ones for last. There are two on each converter the ones on the pax side are easier than the driver's side. The instructions are extremely good. You need about 24" of extentions. Trial and error, ended up using 1/2" extentions because 3/8" twisted too much. Also removed my stillen intake on the driver's side and stayed as close to the wheel well as possible. The biggest help was a snap on swivel socket. Eventually they broke loose. Install was a lot easier. I put the nuts at the top and you don't have to go through the engine compartment. Just slip a box end on the nut and torque the bolts. I took some pic's and will post them a little later because it's always such a big deal for me, TOG! As a side bar I took it to the track today and ripped. I'm so happy I could just POOP!:driving:
