Apex'i SAFC II with Exhaust mods?

Hey guys, I have a quick question.

Will an SAFC II work with the G37? I had one on my I35 and G35 and i was able to make significant power gains by tweaking the air/fuel ratio by either leaning or riching out the fuel/air mixture. I was wondering if the same can be said for the G37.

For Example: When I got the intake/headers/exhaust/HFC/spacers + advance timing on my i35, I went from making a baseline with said mods 222whp - 218whp to 244whp - 238wtq. This of course was done with tuning at my dyno shop and about 4 dyno pulls. That of course brought my track times from low 14's to mid 13's with my I35. I h ad no piggy back ecu or technosquare modded ecu. All tuning was done directly from the SAFC II.

If we are gaining an est. 22hp with Intake/Exhaust/HFCs on the G37 then I think we could easily squeeze out another 10-15whp by leaning out the air/fuel mixture.

What are your thoughts??? I just sold my Apexi SAFC II that was on my i35, I need to buy another one. :52: :7:

I doubt it. The advanced intelligence from the ECU will just override the AFC over time. I had a celica GTS a few years ago and thats what happened with a Toyota. I expect the same with Infiniti.

I guess its worth a try though :dunno:

The Nissan ECUs don't take mods to well at all. You'll probably have to buy another Apexi SAFC II as you stated or get your ECU reflashed.
