Correct Car Battery for 2010 G37x
***Sorry for the noob question, but I couldnt find a direct answer in my search of the forums***
So, Autozone recommended (both in person and on their website) a 26R-DL battery for my 2010 G37x. Worked ok for about 10 months then my car would not start periodically. However, battery would respond to a jump and car would then run. Took to my mechanic and he said the 26R-DL battery is too small and that I needed a bigger battery (presumablyy the 35). What gives? Is he correct?? If so, why would Autozone recommend and sell me the 26? Thanks again... I'm a bit of a novice if that already hasn't been established haha.

I just installed (20 minutes ago) the (Walmart) EverStart MAXX-24F in my 2013 Infiniti G37 coupe.
I've have not seen my car start up so fast in years, WOW.
So two thumbs up for the EverStart.

I’m clear about the 35 and or 24 working, but can anyone tell me why auto zone would recommend a 26R-DL? Has anyone ever heard of this battery working for a 2010 G37x? Thanks again.

Maybe Auto Zone is try to sell you the battery they want to sell you (better profit?), then the battery you might have asked for (or be better served by).
