is my key fob dying?
when I lock my car, it dosent do the beep anymore. also, I have to take the ob out to open. the thing on the door no longer works

Need more info. How do you lock your car? Fob or door handle button?

Are you saying you have to hold the fob close to the door to get the fob unlock to work? Or to get the door button unlock to work?

Did you have the car at the dealer recently?

have you tried to replace the battery in the FOB?
