Welcme to the site and kudos for selecting one of the two appropriate forums for posting your question.

Sedans come in Base and Journey models. Options differentiate the two. If you have the S model, you get the red "S" badge added to the trunk lid, 4-piston brake calipers up front and 2-piston calipers in the rear as well as limited-slip differential, firmer dampers and 18" wheels. Automatics get paddle shifters.

There is a web site that can use your VIN to provide this info. Let me see if I can find it.

Give this site a try:

So what about my 2015 Q40, what G37 would that be compatible to? Since I have a hard time finding aftermarket parts under that badge. Thanks.

Should be the same as a g37 - Just a new badge
Infiniti was transitioning from Gs to Qs.

Right I get that, but is it considered a base or journey model? What is the difference by the way? Thanks

Grab your VIN and try one of two things:

Go to www.partsouq.com and see what info pops up.

OR

Go to http://cpo.nissanusa.com/nna/?XXXXXXX

Replace the "X's" with your VIN. A lot of times, a copy of your window sticker will pop up. Should work using infinitiusa, too.

Try this one: http://cpo.nissanusa.com/nna/?JN1FV7EK1JM530621

Cool, eh?

Well, shoot.

Only, other thing I can suggest is to email your VIN. I can get a definitive answer for you.

askdisparts@gmail.com

May I ask what your looking for in particular? Or, just trying to satisfy curiosity?

He's trying to determine the equivalent G model of his Q40 so he can order parts online. Apparently the Q is under-represented in parts databases.

Ah, aight.

Q40 is either a base or journey as someone mentioned prior.

Theres wasn't a sport version of it.
