Car is lowered with coilovers 26.5 Fender To Ground

With the car lowered would ramps be ok

Ultimately whats the best synthetic oil besides royal purple

How often should I change oil
3000 or 5000

Don't forget wheel chockes.

that also works. ... or the free coupon Harbor Freight tarp they often have in their flyers.

i like the "big cookie sheet" because its all about speed and convenience - no spreading out a tarp - i just slide it out from under my workbench and under the car - catch container, oil filter wrench, and funnel is already sitting on it ready to go. jack up passenger side, proceed with draining (the longest part) ... while its dripping out i use that time to detail engine bay, clean wheels, etc.

only downside is it takes up more space than a folded tarp unless you have somewhere to lean it up against a wall, or in my case, a work bench to slide it under.

Here's the pic of my ramps, don't weigh much and you can store them stacked upright (inversed) and they don't take up much room. As far as change intervals and what oil to use, if 3k on synthetic is what you prefer, nothing wrong with that.
I rotate my tires every 7k, and the ramps make it easy to get my floor jack under there then get to rotating

Oh right, I had forgotten that being lowered was part of the original post. I'm not so no prob getting the jack underneath. I take it you change your oil at 7k also? I can't imagine keeping a separate schedule for the two.

Yeah, actually I'm changing it at 6k now since my summer tires wear faster and need more frequent flips. I run staggered now though so I can only go side to side, but still helps a little

Why would you need to? They're still reporting to the same receiver...

Yeah, you are right. This is the G37. It only has the TPMS light.

Sorry, I also have a 2015 Q50s and that will indicate which tire has which pressure.

don't mean to derail the thread, but i haven't considered this ... rotating tires on an AWD vehicle is important, and i guess you'd have to either:

- go to the dealer every time you need to rotate tires
- deal with the fact that the TPMS displays are going to not indicate the correct tires
- buy some sort of TPMS programmer ($$$?)

Well, I go with option 2. I check my tire pressure, engine, etc.. every Sunday evening as part of my weekly car check for each of my vehicles (hence I asked if anyone reset their TPMS sensors). Some may think I am cheap...but my philosophy is that I don't mind spending money, but I hate wasting money. =)

yeah, i guess i'd do it that way too - get a low tire press warning .... check them all.

i'm also not cheap, and not stupid, either. i deal with the low tire pressure warning all winter with my snow tires (no TPMS sensors on them), but check the pressure every week or so.

would anyone recommend a good hydraulic jack? I've been looking online & amazon and see that some hydraulic jacks leak out their oil & some the bolts snap in half

some talk about after 3-4 oil changes the jack doesn't function as well

The Harbor Freight 3 ton low profile jack is a good one, never had any issues, many members here use them, and they can typically be found for about $80 with coupon.
I can probably dig up a coupon if you need one, shoot me a PM if so.

Correct me if I'm wrong I believe the crush washer on the oil drain plug picture as shown faces down so it crushes against the oil pan.
