Hard to replace? Tips/tricks?

A quick search from the root folder should pop up half-a-dozen threads. I haven't had this displeasure yet.

Will take under 5 minutes to replace both. All you need is a small flat head screw driver. No idea on a good source for them, but I'd assume Rock Auto has them cheap.

Agreed, it's an easy fix with a screwdriver....shouldn't take more than 5 minutes!

Like the above post. I purchased mine on ebay. 20 bucks. Worked like a champ! I also bought some for my convertible trunk from ebay as well and worked great!

One person job or someone to hold up the hood?

It's a one person job. Just prop up the hood with a board or something and make sure it's properly seated. The hood shocks come off fairly easily.

If you were Canadian I'd say that your snow brush should work perfect for it. But yeah just prop it up with anything, should take about a minute per side to change them if it's your first time doing it.

Do not work on car when dead tired! Tried to figure how to reinstall the clips that were removed. DUH!

yea the clips are a real pain to put back in if u accidently removed them. theyre so strong lol
