HELP! INJEN CAI G37s Coupe issues

I just recently bought a G37S coupe, and ordered an INJEN CAI. I am hearing no sucking/whistling sound at all. I feel the gain but i hear no whistle? It came with 2 foam covers for the air filters i assume to help keep water and debris out, but any ideas why i am not hearing the whistling sound? Any info is appreciated!!

They never whistled on my car. I think short rams you might hear a whistle but on the cai its too far away from you to hear if it did.

I bet your g didnt have dual intakes. Cai will not whistle if it does you wint hear it. Also i advise against k&n or any oil type filter.

Why would I lie? And with 2 Intakes it should be even louder . And why do u advise against k&n for Cai applications?. I used it for years with no issues. The filter sits at the end of the pipe no where near the maf sensor. For sri I wouldn't use it tho jus incase.

Why do you want that whistle? I always thought it was annoying, I'd rather hear the motor..

I had Injen in the past and never had it whistle. I would say leave the covers on though. I ended up getting rid of my Injen because they sucked in water every time I drove it in the rain.
