My VDC traction control light came on today. I noticed a slight click noise this morning up by the odometer. After work at start up, the lights on the dash read, slip, abs and VDC off. I have a G37s 2008 auto. Any ideas? Thanks D-

VDC will come on sometimes without any actual "slip" if your brake fluid is low. Check that first then try disconnecting battery and resetting the system

Thanks Rich! Brake fluid is low! It says use ATF, any particular type of fluid? Sorry Power Steering is low not the brake fluid.

After two hours at the stealership, they couldn't find anything wrong...said bumpy road and railroad tracks could cause the lights to display.brakes were fine.

My "slip" light comes on all the time...

My brakes work fine, I just choose not to use them much going around corners.

My light comes on all the time too. It started after I had my tires upgraded. I wounder if that has something to do with it. My light will come one not long after I start the car and pull off. It never take long to come on. I'd bet money it has something to do with my 245 x 275 tire upgrade.

Sorry... I was being a smart-***. My light comes on because I break traction, not because of a defect.

Not a defect. All of those light come on because your break fluid is low. When your break fluid is low that means new brake pads are close behind.
